And we also / to bere hī compaignye
¶ And whil we sekyn / thilke diuinitee
That is I hid / in heuene pryuely
Algate I brent in this world / shuln we be
To whom Cecile answerde / boldely

Men mygħten dredyn wel / and skylfully
This lyf to lese / myn owne deere brother
If this were lyuyng oonly / & noon other
¶ But there is better lyf / in other place
That neuere shal be lost / ne drede the nougħt

Whicħ goddes sone / vs tolde / thurgħ his grace
That fadres sone / hatħ alle thynges wrougħt
And al þt wrougħt is / wt a skilful thougħt
The goost þt fro the fader / gan procede
Hatħ sowled hem / wt outen any drede

¶ By word & by myracle / he goddes sone
Whan he was in this world / declared heere
That þere was other lyf / þere men may wone
To whom answerde Tiburce / o Suster deere
Ne seydestow rigħt now / in this manere

There nas but o god / lord in sootħfastnesse
And now of three / how maistow bere wytnesse
¶ That shal I telle quod she / er I go
Rigħt as a man / hatħ sapiences three
Memorie / engyn / and Intellect also

Thre persones / may there / rigħt wel be
Tho gan she hī / ful bisily to preche
Of Cristes sone / and of his peynes teche

To doon mankynde / pleyn remyssioū
That was I bounde / in sȳne / & cares colde
Al this thyng / she vn to Tiburce tolde
And after this / Tiburce in good entente

¶ That thanked god / & wt glad herte & ligħt
He cistned hī / and mad hī in that place
Parfyt in his lernynge / goddes knygħt
And after this / Tiburce gat swicħ grace

The Aungel of god / and euery maner boone
That he god axed / it was sped ful soone
