Boþe in armes same wrought ful richely

And þat oþer knigħt highte Palamon
Nat fully quyk ne fully deed þei were
But by her cote armors and by here gere
The heraudes knewe hem self in special

As þei þat weren of þe blood real
Of Thebes and of sustren tuo y born
Out of þe caas þe pilours han hem torn
And han hem caried softe vnto þe tente
Of Theseus and he ful sone hem sente /

To Athenes to dwellen in prisouñ
Perpetuelly hem nolde he not Raunsoū
And whan þis worþi duk haþ þus y don
He took his oost and home he rit anon
With laurer coroūned as a conquerour

And in a tour in angwissħ and in woo .
